The Duke Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to join the faculty in the Division of Orthopaedics, Plastics and Regional Anesthesiology.

  • Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology, and possess fellowship training in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine. Division faculty work in the OR and perioperative block service at Duke University Medical Center.
  • Faculty in the Regional Division are experts in the use of regional anesthetic techniques for both surgical anesthesia and the management of acute postoperative pain.
  • The Division has achieved national and international prominence as leaders in developing innovative enhanced recovery care pathways for patients undergoing orthopaedic surgery.
  • The Division’s goal is to promote a constant interplay between educational activities, research, and clinical practice, with the goal of identifying clinically relevant questions that benefit patient care and the educational experience of the next generation of regional anesthesiologists and acute pain medicine physicians.

Salary and faculty title will be commensurate with training and experience.  Additionally, faculty members enjoy Duke’s generous benefit package including, 401K, dental, vision, CME, moving allowances, and tuition assistance.
