Fulfillment Center PRONTO FULFILLMENT LLC is searching for a full-time Quality Control Specialist in Virginia who is motivated to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:
- Perform sampling of incoming Raw Materials and Packaging Components.
- Review third-party laboratory test data and release raw materials by placing "Approved/Released" stickers on them.
- Review the packaging components (Bottles, Caps) and compare them to the component specification.
- Release the components and printed packaging components (after meeting specification, comparison to bottle and cap standards) by placing "Approved/ Released" stickers on the components.
- Ensure observation of all manufacturing and packaging activities to ensure compliance to SOPs and GMPs (weighing, blending, encapsulation, bottle packaging, etc.).
- Conduct In-Process Checks of all manufacturing and packaging activities (capsule weight checks in encapsulation and bottle count, ink jet, induction seal, and label checks in bottle packaging).
- Perform adenosine triphosphate (ATP) testing after cleaning and sanitizing steps to confirm equipment and utensil cleanliness.
- Review documents and approve production room start up.
- Review finished product analytical and microbiological test results with release criteria and provide finished product disposition.
- Assist with data collection and analysis, as well as communicate and report any quality issues or concerns to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Write reports to share observations about compliance and recommend changing the Quality Systems and processes as necessary.
- Read and Review process improvements that support the project; SOP's as they apply to QC group; test forms and associated documents.
- Document and record all quality control activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve any quality issues or deviations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control policies and procedures.
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance overall quality control processes.
- Act as a representative of the company's commitment to quality in all interactions with internal and external customers.
- Train and mentor new Quality Assurance Technicians as needed.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed.
- Working hours: full-time from 8:00 AM till 4:30 PM (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break), Monday to Friday.
- Two weeks of paid vacation a year.
- National days off.
- $300 for self-paid health insurance, paid monthly on top of the salary.
- Bonuses based on performance.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) with 2 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- 1+ year of general lab experience in material testing (preferred).
- Experience in materials management, inventory control systems, and customer service (desired).
- Ability to work in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Skill to distinguish colors (required).
- Team-player and good organizational skills.
- General computer skills including Microsoft Office software.
- Main lab skills or a science background (desired).
- Physical endurance to routinely lift 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Adherence to the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) policies and procedures.
- Ability to wear all PPE furnished when required or needed to perform work properly and safely.
Salary: $20 - $27 per hour (weekly payment)
