The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing. Role Description: Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies into facility and out of facility, within or between departments, within or between sites in accordance with shipping and receiving schedules or department supervisors’ priorities. Key Responsibilities: Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents. Verifying the correctness of incoming shipments by comparing items and quantities unloaded against bills of lading, invoices, manifests, storage receipts, or other records, checking for damaged goods, insuring that goods are appropriately identified for routing to departments within the establishment, and preparing and keeping records of goods received. Uses company policies and procedures for packing components and materials into boxes, tri-walls, and pallets. Enters and updates inventory information into appropriate computer data base as directed by supervisor. Assures that all shipments containing hazardous or dangerous goods are packaged and handled in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Operates forklifts, pallet loaders, pallet jacks, packing machines, package scales, and other equipment related to the shipping process. Prioritize workload and have flexibility to adjust based on position requirements. #LI-MZ1 #LI-MZ1 Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Two (2) years of previous supply/logistics experience. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to multi-task. Proficient Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point). Good communication skills are a must. Position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance. 10% Local travel. Compensation and Benefits: SCA Hourly Position. 9/80 work schedule.
