Who We Are

The WeightWatchers Finance Team serves as a core driver of the company's business success. This team of experienced financial professionals leverages data analytics and best practices to deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis. These contributions empower strategic decision-making across the organization, ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability.

What you will do

The Vice President of Corporate Finance is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and operations of the Company. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the VP Corporate Finance is a strategic business partner to the C Suite, and ensures operational excellence across key financial functions, including FP&A, financial systems, business analytics, pricing strategy, sourcing and supply chain finance.

This role will have the opportunity to not only influence the transformation of WeightWatchers through advanced financial modeling and development of business analytics for strategic growth opportunities. This leader will take a hands-on approach in partnering with the business to drive the right decisions through actionable insights and analyses. The successful leader must be ready to roll up their sleeves and dive into the data, systems, and models, while growing and developing a team.

This position requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in corporate finance, business intelligence and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy, Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Strategic In-Year and Multi-Year Planning: Lead the annual budgeting process, as well as multi-year financial forecasting and strategic planning. Ensure alignment with the company's long-term goals and objectives. Direct the FP&A team to develop comprehensive financial models and forecasts.
    • Performance Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to the executive team. Prepare financial reporting including, dynamic dashboards, business analyses, financial statements, KPI reporting, operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences.
    • Capital Allocation: Optimize the allocation of capital resources across the company to maximize return on investment and support growth initiatives.
    • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Lead the development of sophisticated financial models to support decision-making on investments, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
    • Financial Reporting: Collaborate with the Controller's team to support the analysis of quarterly and annual financial statements
    • Ad Hoc Financial Planning: Provide financial analysis and modeling for special projects, new business initiatives, and other ad hoc requests. Support decision-making with data-driven insights

Financial Systems and Business Analytics
    • Business Analytics: Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence strategies. Provide robust data analysis, dashboards, and reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. Recommend and deliver process improvements and enhanced analytics to drive strategic decisions in support of WW's growth targets.
    • Elevate and scale processes and systems for forecasting and modeling in order to expediently provide financial guidance, support strategic product and growth investments, and drive financial decisions.
    • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of financial data to support strategic decision-making.
    • Financial Systems Management: Oversee the management and enhancement of financial systems and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities. Ensure systems are scalable and adaptable to the company's growth needs.

Sourcing & Supply Chain:
    • Oversee the Sourcing and Logistics functions at WW to ensure the team and business owners are providing cost management, continuity of service and alignment with growth objectives.

Pricing Strategy and Management
    • Subscription Pricing Strategy: Lead the development and optimization of base pricing strategies for the company's subscription products, ensuring pricing aligns with the company's financial goals and market conditions. Use data and insights to continually refine pricing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
    • Data-Driven Pricing Decisions: Utilize business analytics, financial modeling and market and competitor pricing trends to assess the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability. Ensure that the pricing structure supports business growth and aligns with the company's overall financial plan.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Performance Marketing and Growth teams to support promotional and product changes, and ensure that strategies support financial targets.

Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects
    • Partner with the VP of Corporate Development for strategic initiatives, including debt management, equity financing, and capital allocation strategies, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), business expansions, and new market entries, providing them support as needed from the FP&A team for key priorities.

Leadership and Team Development
    • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the Corporate Finance team into a team of high-performance, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior leaders across WW to support strategic initiatives, ensure seamless integration of financial planning with operations, and ensure alignment with financial objectives and long term business goals.
    • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements across all financial functions to drive efficiency and enhance the quality of financial data and reporting.

Who you are
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
    • Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, including leadership roles in FP&A or business intelligence.
    • Proven track record of strategic financial management and delivering business insights.
    • Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Forward-Thinking and Anticipatory Leadership: Ability to look around corners and foresee market trends, economic shifts, and business risks well ahead of time, ensuring the company is proactively positioned to address challenges or capitalize on opportunities.
  • Multi-Year Planning: Develop and drive a multi-year strategic financial roadmap that accounts for long-term growth, sustainability, and potential disruptions, setting a rhythm that promotes agility and adaptability.
  • Setting Predictable, No-Surprises Financial Rhythms: Foster a culture of continuous monitoring and course-correction to ensure there are no surprises. This includes recognizing early warning signals, aligning teams on the impact of current strategies, and making data-driven adjustments to avoid unforeseen financial setbacks.
