Position: AWS Enterprise Architect
Location: Hybrid Boca Raton, FL (three times a week)
Contract status: Full Time

Role Summary:
The Enterprise Architecture team is responsible for overseeing, improving, and developing enterprise services through maintaining and updating technology software, hardware, and services in alignment with business strategies and goals. This senior role is responsible for contributing to various architecture efforts by providing both technical leadership and delivery of critical artifacts (e.g., textual documents, architecture models, strategic and solution level work products, and more). While Enterprise Architects should have knowledge across all domains of architecture, this role will contribute to business application, database, cloud, integration, disaster recovery, security, and other technical architecture documentation needs, assessing migration options, solution evaluations, conducting vendor POCs, and more supporting a myriad of transformation efforts. Leadership skills and an ability to have a positive attitude, patience and collaborate effectively with various teams, technologies and projects is critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Document best practices, policies, and standards to guide and govern the alignment of proposed initiatives.
- Produce technical architectural diagrams, documents for various enterprise architecture areas and/or solutions.
- Research and assess migration options for legacy applications and infrastructure.
- Research emerging technologies including executing POCs, documenting findings and assessing organizational fit.
- Evaluate and assess vendor products including POCs for architectural fit within ecosystem.
- Govern architecture to be compliant with architectural standards.
- Leads Technology Selection Process to provide more efficient ways of operating.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field plus 7+ years' experience.
- Broad knowledge of core technologies, programming languages, and experience or certification in AWS services.
- Direct experience driving enterprise architecture strategy leveraging industry leading frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman and/or with system description standards and architecture modeling tools such as ArchiMate.
- Broad solution architecture experience (applications, integration, platform, security, data, other) and understanding of cloud native, microservices and other best practice architecture patterns is a plus.
- Ideal candidate has an Innovation mindset with excellent verbal and written communication and meeting management skills.
- Success in this role will require high-motivation, curiosity and passion for technology, the ability to quickly research, learn, experiment with technology, and work independently with minimal supervision to deliver results.
