Who you are:

You are a self-driven individual with a "get it done" attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems. You work in conjunction with the Solution Owner and Technical Lead to build the technical solution for a client need and you are responsible for addressing advanced technical challenges of project work. Depending on the nature of the project, you will be required to configure the solution within the Salesforce platform and/or perform custom development and may be called on to assist with activities like scoping and documentation.

So, what will I do?
  • Analyze business requirements and then recommend, implement, and manage the Salesforce solutions
  • Lead client discovery sessions to gather, define, and document business requirement
  • Develop implementation estimates and plans for phases of the delivery lifecycle, including development, testing, training, communication, deployment, and post-production support
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Demos
  • Document requirements in the form of use cases
  • Demonstrate solution functionality to business stakeholders as needed
  • Design and participate in end-user acceptance testing
  • Present solution options to customer, evaluating the pros and cons of declarative configuration against code and customization
  • Participate in declarative system configuration when necessary
  • Provide technical and functional expertise to project teams
  • Participate in training content development and Administrator and end-user training delivery

And, what will I bring?
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience and proven understanding of a full software development lifecycle
  • Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions
  • Analytical techniques - Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting the outcome, including designing process flows and helping define test scripts
  • System configuration - Ability to effectively design and configure a scalable Salesforce solution to meet client business needs, and determine when custom development is necessary
  • Project management - Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with the complete lifecycle of complex enterprise projects; understanding of core project management concepts, theories, practices, and methods
  • Change management and scope control - Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope; ability to administer change management processes within a specified framework, including regularly reviewing issues management and change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Agile tools such as Jira
  • Experience as a Quality Analyst a plus
  • Understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AppExchange solutions
  • Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire (Platform App Builder and Administrator). Consultant-level certifications a plus (e.g., Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, others)


Hybrid/In office: We are hybrid but there are expectations that if your team leader requires you onsite that you are able to meet those expectations/requirements

  • Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the expected base salary pay range is $84,000 to $103,000. In addition, there is potential for an 8% discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation will depend upon individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
