The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for The Software Business Analyst/Project Manager will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical teams, and managing the entire project lifecycle.

Pay Range: Pay Range $78,000.00 - $141,000.00

This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical teams, and managing the entire project lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Document functional and technical specifications for new software solutions or improvements.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable tasks for the development team.
- Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and system impact assessments.
- Develop user stories, process flows, and wireframes to facilitate communication with stakeholders and developers
- Plan and manage software development projects using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and budgets, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication between all parties involved.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Work closely with clients, product owners, and internal teams to ensure requirements are fully understood.
- Act as the point of contact for project-related questions, clarifications, and feedback.
- Ensure that business objectives are met through effective stakeholder communication and management.
- Work with the QA team to define acceptance criteria and test plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis and project management within a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project management frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and business analysis tools (e.g., Visio, Balsamiq).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, Scrum Master certification, or equivalent.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., developers, QA, designers).
- Knowledge of specific software development technologies (e.g., APIs, databases)
