Design, estimate, develop, document, and implement well tested solutions that satisfy the requirements of each application development request within the allocated time and budget for each assigned task. Provide technical support in diagnosing and resolving incoming support calls and resolve issues and requests in a timely manner by implementing solutions using pre-established methods.
This position can be remote or hybrid which will require the candidate to report and work from the office three days a week. Hybrid candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Support all applications.

- Ensure McLane Methodology is followed.
- Ensure requirements and development deliverables match the design specifications.
- Ensure that the test plans match the requirements.
- Ensure that the test results match the test plans.
- Provide high-level and detailed estimates.
- Provide high-level and detailed developer specifications.
- Create an appropriate test environment for the project team to work with and validate the delivered solutions.
- Develop and test solutions using the McLane development tools in the development environment that meet McLane standards.
- Provide the appropriate implementation documentation for installs.
- Manage and execute the system-testing process and UAT process.
- Support the implementation and post-implementation activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
A teammate in this position must have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related experience.
- Have 4-5 years of broad-based experience in specific and related disciplines of the business.
- Experience in distribution, procurement, warehouse operations, transportation, retail, or financial systems is preferred. Create written business requirements up to technical specifications following through to test scripts, user testing.
- RPG Functional and Technical experience required.
- 5+ year's experience and strong knowledge using CL400, CLLE, iSeries/AS400, RPGLE, RPG400, LANSA, SQLRPGLE, Free-format, Subfiles, DDS, DSPF, PRTF. In depth knowledge of Warehousing, Distribution, Purchasing, Sales Order, Inventory, and EDI. LANSA 14.2
- Related work experience with exposure to resolving user technology issues.
- Candidate must possess good verbal & written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams and PC fundamentals.
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours to complete implementations and resolve issues.
- Rotating 24/7 on-call requirement.
- PREFERRED:
- Lansa Functional and Technical experience.
- IBM Infosphere Data Replication (mirroring) administration.
- Lansa Designer administration.
