The AI and Data Operations team leverages the power of data, analytics, robotics, science and cognitive technologies to uncover hidden relationships from vast troves of data, generate insights, and inform decision-making. Together with the Strategy practice, our Strategy & Analytics portfolio helps clients transform their business by architecting enterprise programs and differentiated strategies to win in their chosen markets.

The AI & Data Operations team works with our clients to:
  • Manage and operate large scale data platforms (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), automation and hyper automation capabilities and operate AI foundries to allow our clients to drive insights from the vast troves of data in their systems and ecosystems
  • Deploy hyper automation and cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions
  • Drive operational efficiency by maintaining their data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements
Work you'll do

The Deloitte Intelligent Automation (IA) Specialist engages with client stakeholders, IT personnel, process exports, software vendor, engineering/support teams, and other members of the DPR engagement to analyze and qualify processes for automation, as well as design, implement, test, deploy, support, and operate Intelligent Automation (IA) capabilities in the client's environments. This role includes serving as a process engineer, technology implementer, and solution developer, and client advisor.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of Full Stack development or RPA experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
  • Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Chantilly, VA
Preferred:
  • Robotic Process Automation Tools (i.e. UIPath, Automation Anywhere) - certification preferred but not required
  • Python Java Textract, PowerShell, ServiceNow, C#, VB.net, Jira
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial for identifying automation opportunities and troubleshooting issues.
  • Understanding of Business Processes: Analyzing and optimizing business processes, as this will help them identify automation candidates effectively.
  • Data Handling Skills: Experience with Excel, databases, and data manipulation is important, as many IA solutions involve handling data.
  • Version Control Familiarity: Knowledge of version control systems (like Git) can help with collaboration and code management.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication is key, especially for working with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
  • Attention to Detail: IA projects require meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in automation.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt, as IA technologies and methodologies can evolve rapidly.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working in agile teams or familiarity with project management tools can be a plus.
  • Curiosity and Willingness to Learn: The client is moving forward to bring on new capabilities as they are able, and the team must be willing to keep pace with the change.
