Rate of Pay: $87,672.00

Duties: Responsible for sourcing, negotiating and supplier strategy creation and execution for assigned commodities. Responsible for placing inquiries, supplier selection, pricing and contract negotiation for gearbox, motor, and inverter components. Sourcing parts to obtain the best possible pricing, quality, and lead time, fulfilling budget as well as, if applicable, Buy-America(n) requirements in collaboration with quality, logistics, and project management departments. Reports commercial figures to headquarters, conducts market researches, and creates and implements sourcing and procurement strategies. Builds and maintains supplier relationships and performs supplier evaluations.

Requirements: The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Business, or related field (will accept 3 or 4 year foreign degrees) and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Commodity Management Professional-related occupation.

Position requires experience in the following:

1. Contract management and supplier negotiation

2. Project management and analytical skills

3. Creating and implementing procurement strategies for commodities assigned

4. Supply chain risk evaluation, inventory analysis

5. Implementing improvement measures related to delivery and quality

20% International and Domestic Travel Required. Telecommuting may be permissible pursuant to company policy.
