Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer I

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer I, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, andtesting of electrical systems and components. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, ensure product quality, and drive continuous improvement.

Functions:
  • Participate in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components, from concept to production, ensuring compliance with technical requirements, specifications, and standards.
  • Use engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, models, simulations, and technical documentation for electrical circuits, components, and systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations to assess design concepts, identify technical challenges, and propose solutions or improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and technicians, to integrate electrical systems into overall product designs and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Perform prototype development, testing, and validation activities, including design verification, functional testing, and reliability testing, to ensure product performance and reliability.
  • Analyze test data and results, using statistical methods and tools, to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement design modifications or enhancements.
  • Support the transition of products from development to production, including design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) considerations, process optimization, and production ramp-up activities.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, product development, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, theories, and methodologies, with the ability to apply them to solve technical problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Experience with engineering software and tools, such as CAD/CAM, simulation, and analysis software, and the ability to interpret and analyze complex engineering data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Preferred Skills
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with embedded systems design, microcontroller programming, and firmware development.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards applicable to electrical systems and products.
  • Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles.
  • Previous experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, aerospace).
