The Missiles & Aviation Solutions Division, within the Defense Systems Sector at Leidos, currently has an opportunity for an Integrated Technical Evaluation and Analysis of Multiple Sources (ITEAMS) Solutions Architect to work at our Huntsville, AL Dynetics campus within the Flight Systems Department. Engineers within the Flight Systems Department provide solutions to complex, technical problems involving design, modeling and analysis of various types of aerospace systems.

The Missiles & Aviation Solutions Division, within the Defense Systems Sector at Leidos, currently has an opportunity for an Integrated Technical Evaluation and Analysis of Multiple Sources (ITEAMS) Solutions Architect to work at our Huntsville, AL Dynetics campus within the Flight Systems Department. Engineers within the Flight Systems Department provide solutions to complex, technical problems involving design, modeling and analysis of various types of aerospace systems.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engineers in this position will oversee a diverse workforce focused on the analysis of a wide range of foreign air and missile defense systems and the operation of these weapon components within the context of an adversarial integrated air defense systems (IADS).
- Success in this role requires the leadership of multidisciplinary teams of engineers, all-source intelligence professionals and subject matter experts to exploit scientific and technical intelligence (S&TI) data and develop a credible threat system design substantiated with detailed documentation of the threat characteristics and performance.
- Ground-based surveillance and early warning radar.
- Battle management command, control, and communications.
- Multifunction fire control/target engagement radar.
- Tiered air and missile interceptors (point and area defense).
- Modeling and simulation.
- Weapon system performance evaluation and/or operational effectiveness.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field and 12+ years' experience; or a Master's degree and 10+ years' experience. A doctoral degree may be used in lieu of five years of experience.
- Candidate must possess strong technical communication skills and an ability to work both independently and in collaborative team environments.
- Candidate must have 5+ years' experience in a technical leadership role of multiple DoD programs.
- Candidate must be a resident of North Alabama area or willing to relocate to work on-site at the Huntsville, AL office.
- Candidate must be a US citizen and possess at minimum a Secret level security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SSBI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SSBI Clearance.
- Familiarity/experience with DoD digital engineering paradigm.
- Experience with the design or evaluation of U.S. or foreign air and missile defense systems.
- Strong math skills in the areas of linear algebra, matrix math, statistics, probability, and calculus.
- Air and missile defense weapon/target pairing and engagement planning.
- Radar waveform processing.
- Radar mode logic and algorithms.
- Radar performance analysis.
- Interceptor missile design.
- Intelligence Community and/or exploitation of S&TI data.
- Technical analysis of ground-based foreign IADS.
