Who are we hiring?
The Senior Director Executive Protection is primarily responsible for the safety and security of the corporation’s highest-level executives, including the Executive Chairman daily. In addition, the Senior Director performs office administrative functions and assists the Executive Chairman as directed. Finally, this role will report to the Chief Security Officer.
What will you do?
- Provides close protection, logistical support, and transportation of the company’s executives, focusing on the Executive Chairman and CEO.
- Build trust and rapport with the Executive Chairman, ensuring their comfort and confidence in the security measures provided.
- Responsible for performing security assessments of all private residences, business, and event locations to be visited by the principal to ensure the personal protection and safety of the executive.
- Execute proactive measures such as advance work, research, and collection of applicable information, adjusting protection strategies accordingly.
- Monitor surroundings for suspicious activities, potential threats, or security breaches.
- Maintain clear and continuous communication with team members and relevant authorities, especially during critical incidents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement, security agencies, as well as counterparts in both intelligence and private sector.
- Maintains accurate records of incidents, security measures, and daily activities for reporting purposes.
- Provide vehicular escort services to clients and guests, and plan alternate routes to ensure on-time arrival.
- Ability to drive out of state when necessary while keeping in constant communication with dispatch.
- Stay updated on security protocols, weapon handling, and emergency response techniques through regular training sessions.
- Perform other broad security duties as needed/directed to accomplish the overall security mission at MSG.
What do you need to succeed:
- The ideal candidate will have extensive prior law enforcement and/or substantial corporate security and executive protection experience.
- Candidates must have demonstrated experience interfacing with high level executives from diverse arenas (C-Suite Executive relations is essential), excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Strict confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and situational sensitivity are essential.
- The ideal candidate must be highly flexible, stress tolerant and motivated, with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Experience managing a highly changeable calendar with extreme tact and diplomacy is essential.
- Must have strong working knowledge of pertinent laws and demonstrate high level of engagement with law enforcement communities and government agencies, including active memberships in security organizations, nationally and internationally.
- Able to schedule and manage intricate travel arrangements and anticipate all contingencies.
- Candidates should be well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task. They should have a track record as strategic thinkers capable of foreseeing the impact of simultaneous projects.
- Strong judgment, decision-making, time management, and prioritizing skills. Must be energetic, positive, outgoing, and resourceful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Must be highly responsive to emergencies in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills necessary.
- Candidates who have completed at least 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing two years) or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc., are preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Must be licensed to carry under LEOSA.
- Must pass physical fitness examination administered by the company.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- This position requires a valid driver’s license.
- The candidate must be flexible and provide security protection to guests and other assignments as needed.
- Will require frequent travel, up to 25%, to other office locations, NYC, LV, Burbank or other locations outside of the US on an as needed basis.

Pay Range
$220,000—$300,000 USD
