This Account Manager will work to develop and maintain strategic relationships with targeted Transportation and Industrial customers to ensure business targets are achieved. S/he needs to work with internal and external teams to provide valued products and services to dedicated customer base, including distributors, that allow for sustainable sales results.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Sales Activities
- Possess some knowledge of lubricant products, including technical specifications, preferably in transportation and/or industrial applications
- Actively collect information to build strategic account plans to grow customer business and overall market share
- Use company systems and tools to record and update customers profile, demand rolling forecast, customer calls and opportunity management
- Coordinate with internal business groups and functions (technology, product management, supply chain etc.) to provide high quality technical and logistic solutions
- Assist in the collection of receivables as necessary
- Work to prevent problems as well as resolving supply challenges
- Build a strong internally and externally network to ensure cross-functional alignment
Account Management
- Develop and share customer and market insights
- Analyze customer profile, business plans, competition status and SWOT, to develop strategic customer plans for short- and long-term growth objectives
- Proactively approach customers to define customer needs
- Develop and deliver Lubrizol value propositions and scope cooperative initiatives which impact results
- Align sales objectives with internal stakeholders, coordinate and lead the internal efforts necessary to deliver results
- Build trust and retain long-term relationship with key customer contacts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline: chemistry, engineering, business, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in product management or sales, preferably in the chemical industry and interacting with B2B customers
- Commercial experience highly preferred
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong sense of ownership
- Self-driving and result oriented
- Good team player and self-learner
- Well organized and principled
- Ability to complete assigned tasks on time with high quality
- An 'All In' attitude and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English, bilingual considered a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Dynamics, and Outlook
- Able to travel frequently
