Summary

The Normal CornBelters (NCB), a summer wood-bat collegiate baseball team, are members of the Prospect League. The CornBelters are owned by Normal CornBelters Baseball, LLC, and operated by Play 9 Sports management group. Normal CornBelters Baseball also operates the Kernels Collegiate League (KCL), a wood-bat collegiate league, which plays a 30-game league solely at the Corn Crib in Normal. The Normal CornBelters, Kernels Collegiate League, and the Corn Crib are looking for Stadium Operations Interns to join their team for the summer 2025 semester.

Internship Dates
Start = Tuesday, May 13th, 2025
End = Friday, August 1st, 2025

2025 Internship Roles
  • Facility Operations
  • Stadium maintenance and upkeep
  • Implementing stadium improvement projects
  • Special Event Staff
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Report to the Director of Facilities for all stadium operations functions
  • Assure the ballpark is a safe area for all guests in attendance.
  • Set up and breakdown of The Corn Crib before and after games or events.
  • Work with front office staff and other game day staff on maintaining ballpark and/or other duties associated with logistics of all home games and Play 9 Sports events.
  • Participate as a team member through meetings and offer support to other team members to maximize customer service, retention efforts and overall customer satisfaction.
Compensation
  • This is an unpaid position. Interns are eligible to earn college credit, as well as consideration for future placement in part-time and full-time positions with the CornBelters and/or Play 9 Sports.
