Emergency Medicine Physician

Specialty : Emergency Medicine Start date : 10/1/2024; End date : Ongoing Coverage type: Call Only SCHEDULE : * Shifts are 8p-8a - main focus is night shifts/weekends * Physician shifts- 8a-8p, 8p-8a JOB DESCRIPTION : * looking for an experienced provider. Provider must be available 8-10 shifts a month consistently for the next 3-4 months * EMR- EPIC * Annual Volume- 30,000 * Number of beds- 21 beds * Transfer locations- Any of the Ohio Health facilities (Grant, Riverside, Doctors) * Transfer %- 9.9 * Admission Rate %- 10.6 * APP shifts- 9a-9p & 5p-5a * Facility s ED is a free-standing ED that sees between 25-35 patients a day on average. * This is staffed by a physician 24 hrs a day (8a-8p, 8p-8a) with a mid-level from 12p-12a. * Each provider manages their own documentation. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS : * OH state License - REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC * COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED * MUST be boarded ABMS/AOA IM/FM (can be double boarded ABPS) REQUIRED * MUST have 2+ recent experience REQUIRED * NRP - REQUIRED * Require provider for all 3 sites
