Job Title: Breast Surgeon - Locum Tenens Job ID: 73873 Location: Peoria, Illinois Overview: Our client in Central Illinois is seeking a skilled breast surgeon to cover the schedule for several months in 2025. You'll be working with one of Illinois' top healthcare organizations in a beautiful college town, known for it's vibrant waterfront, showcasing many festivals and celebrations throughout the year. * Dates of coverage: February 17, 2025 - June 9, 2025 with possible extension. * Schedule: * Monday: OR 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM * Tuesday: OR 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM * Wednesday: Clinic 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM * Thursday: Clinic 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM * Friday: No clinic or OR, but possible, based on patient volume * Call Schedule: * M-TH night call * Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM (Possible - to be negotiated) What you will be doing: * Diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions including lumpectomy, mastectomy, lymph node dissection, and combo breast reconstruction cases with plastics. What you must have: * Active Illinois License * DEA/CSR * Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 2 years of residency) in General Surgery. * Fellowship in Breast Surgery Other Information: Compensation: * $250/hour * Malpractice provided by TEEMA * Airfare or mileage reimbursed * Rental car reimbursed up to $80/day including fuel * Housing is arranged and paid for by TEEMA (if you prefer to arrange it, you can do so and be reimbursed.
