Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities: * Helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene * Recording and reporting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration * Assisting with patient transfers, mobility exercises, and aiding those with walking or movement difficulties * Adjusting bedding, pillows, and providing emotional support to ensure patient well-being * Noting and reporting changes in patients' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff, and documenting care provided * Setting up and maintaining basic medical equipment and assisting with devices like walkers or wheelchairs * Adhering to infection control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and following isolation precautions * Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary intake * Effectively communicating with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing updates and information as needed * Offering basic education to patients and families on care techniques and treatment plans * Implementing safety measures to prevent accidents, and responding to emergency situations appropriately Qualifications: * Previous experience in nursing or similar medical fields * Familiarity with medical tools and equipment * Ability to build rapport with patients * Compassionate and caring demeanor * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
