Hospitalist Physician

Pediatric Hospitalist need in Memphis, TN: -24 hr in house coverage of busy Peds unit needed 7-10 shifts per month -60-90 day credentialing timeframe -Must be comfortable as the solo physician providing coverage -Most do 24 hr shifts but can mix up days/nights no back to back 24 hr shifts though there is a sleep room and if covering all day you do get rest at night. -Covering 14 Pediatric Beds & Nursery -Newborns age 35 weeks and up -6-8 nursery patients/day and 6-8 peds, with outliers -No delivery attendance or circumcision required -Some procedures like lumbar punctures required -Meditech EMR Must have TN License, BLS, PALS and NRP Certification. Board Certification required as is a clean history with no medical malpractice or background issues.
