YOUR ROLESupports identifying future market trends, developments/product/service expectations and translates them into business growth opportunities specifically around the aerospace defense and MRO market. Supports Sales/Marketing in new technologies / projects / products through deep understanding of product / market / technology / customer.Executes and develops strategies for product / technology positioning and defines training and promotional needs with Marketing. Explores and supports acquisition and divestment projects. Implements business analysis instruments, provides market and competitive intelligence.Collaborates closely with Marketing/R&D/Sales/Key Account Managers to steer activities, and to initiate innovation projects. Builds relevant customer / market relationships and attends and supports relevant events, exhibitions, trade fairs and interactions with the US Govt and DOD.Aggregates product / technology / application / business model needs and communicates these to relevant key interfaces.Ensures that Business Development Managers, Sales, and Key Account Managers have the right business / market / customer transparency to prioritize activities accordingly.YOUR SKILLS Bachelor's degree at a minimum is required. Prefer a degree in a technical area of study.10 years at a minimum of experience in defense and DOD required.Strong business acumen with proven experience in building relationships with all arms of the U.S. Military is preferred.Must have experience in MRO (Materials, Repair and Operations).Strong focus on strategic planning requiredExcellent interpersonal skills along with strong customer interaction and communication skills.Ability to travel, attend and support relevant events to support activities with the U.S. Government and Department of Defense.Travel will be required at a minimum of 50%. Potential for International Travel in the future. Position is fully remote. The salary for this role is $140,700.00 - $225,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
