Corporate Controller

Vaco Staffing is searching for a Corporate Controller for a client in Milwaukee, WI. This is a direct hire role with our client.ResponsibilitiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities, providing strategic insights and analysis to senior management.Oversee mergers, acquisitions, and system implementations. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.Manage cash flow forecasting and oversee financial risk management practices.Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.Drive process improvements and system implementations to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance is required.CPA if preferred A minimum of 10 years of corporate accounting experience, proficient in technical accounting (Debt, Pension, Purchase Accounting) required. Experience with mergers and acquisitions required.
