Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Vice President in enterprise application development area with experience building robust, high-performance, large-scale applications. This position is for a Full stack Java developer passionate to integrate data with emerging technologies in a Cloud platform.Team BackgroundLimit Management System under Credit Risk Technology is responsible for delivering configurable workflow based solutions to manage Wholesale Credit Risk globally. We build tools that collates Limits and Usage data and calculates Wholesale Credit Risk for Counterparties and Portfolios that allows risk management team to manage Citi’s exposure to financial institutions, governments and corporates that trade with Citi.  The team builds and maintains software that provides a complete platform for our users: limit management, usage reports, exception management, stress testing analysis and escalation workflow capabilities are some key areas of focus. Our users rely on the system for an integrated view of trades, collateral, market data, across many dozens of sources. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Full-Stack Sr Developer, designing and developing robust , efficient and scalable micro-services to build functional components that will support Risk Management functions.Partner with the product management team and other stakeholders in brainstorming sessions to identify solutions.Provide technical leadership to the team of Software Engineers/Analyst. Ensure application design adheres to the appropriate architectural and design patterns in the systems.Host sessions for design and code review at multiple levels of the organization.Collaborate effectively with a large global team of software engineers, business analysts, dev-ops and support staff to deliver software solutions for the business.Analyzes production applications and services issues and determines the most efficient and economical programming solutions.Be an effective problem solver, identifying defects and efficiently managing to a resolution.Lead the adoption of new technologies where appropriate to solve business problems while adhering to Citi’s architectural guidelines.Appropriately assess risk when decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualification10+ years of extensive experience working with most if not all the technologies listed below:Expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, SOAP Web service / REST API, Transaction management, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud, JDBC, Hibernate.Good working experience on message broker Apache Kafka, Rabbit MQ, JMSStrong working experience on Relational DB like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, in writing SQL queries and Stored procedures.Strong knowledge of cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and deployment/packaging solutions such as Dockers/Kubernetes, OpenShift.Distributed Caching frameworks such as Oracle Coherence, Redis or equivalent.Experience with DevOps practices and CICD model including tools: Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, Any secure coding toolkits.Experience on any search engines like Lucene, ELK is added advantage.Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, design patterns, industry best practices.Familiarity with Linux environment including scripting skills.        EducationBachelors in engineering or equivalent fieldMaster’s degree is preferredCompetenciesExcellent oral and written EnglishMaintain a good coding hygiene and follow best practicesStrong leadershipAbility to collaborate in a large global team and influence key architectural decisions across groupsAbility to work well under pressure------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Technology------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Applications Development------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Irving Texas United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$125,760.00 - $188,640.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
