Controller/CFO NFP

DescriptionKforce's client, a well-established Suffolk County NY Not for Profit seeks a Controller/CFO. The Controller will report to the President and handle the following: * Budgeting, forecasting, and developing more sophisticated management reports and analytics * Supervise a small team in performing all accounting functions including financial statement prep, A/P, A/R, Inventory, Payroll, Cash Management, credit/collections and moreRequirements* Degree in Accounting (CPA a plus) * 10+ years of hands-on accounting management for a small to mid-sized organization (50-100 employees) preferably in the Not for profit and real estate * Recent controllership or equivalent experience * Hands-on approach, having managed the books and records including AR/Credit/AP * Experience working with ERP system and some experience doing upgrades; Sage software is a plus * Excellent written and verbal communication skills and positive, upbeat personality * Ability to develop budgets, do variance analysis and report back to owners on results and action plans * Willing and able to work on site (this is not a remote opportunity)Job TypeDirect HireCompensation140000 - $169050
