Classification Title:PCB Production Associate (FT, Non-Exempt) Department:Production, PCB Reports to:Production Manager PCB Supervisor Basic Purpose: A circuit board assembler works to build electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCB) to prepare the boards for use. Essential Functions: Hand assembly of small parts into Product Circuit Boards. Tasks may include, but not limited to: oHand placing through hole parts. oHand placing connectors, displays and other parts. oHand soldering through hole parts Using hand tools such as pliers and screwdrivers. Using soldering irons and electric tools for installing screws and nuts and several other components. Ability to sit and/or stand for an extended period of time at assigned work station./ Performing visual inspection of all parts that pass through the workstation. High attention to detail with respect to working with your hands. Attendance. Attention to detail is a must. Being prompt and on time for shift. Desired experience and skills Reading work instructions for the proper sequence of operations. Handling and assembling small parts. Reading drawings and diagrams for connecting cables and wire harnesses Using hand and power tools. Soldering skills Ability to read and interpret job manuals and work diagrams.
