innovating data pipelines that transform clinical data, through data analysis
and visualization, into insights our customers need to effectively make
clinical decisions.This role
will report to the Senior Director of Clinical Data Management, Analytics, and
Data Engineering.Your role:You will be responsible for developing
and maintaining systems and pipelines that bridge clinical data management and
biostatistics processes.You will
leverage your talents in programming, data analytics, and data engineering to
extract, load, and transform data and make it ready for further analysis. You
will develop applications to automate routine data management and analysis
tasks.You will
support development and validation of analytics applications to improve quality
and predictability of clinical trials.You will be
responsible for developing and validating applications and pipelines that are
consistent with best practices and regulatory requirements. You will
maintain, develop, and improve clinical data management and biostatistical
process and standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for
documentation of data engineering processes and pipelines.You will
support current and legacy database systems in collaboration with clinical data
managers and database developers.Your expertise:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Data Analytics Engineering is
preferred. Exceptional candidates with master’s degrees in other STEM fields
will be considered.A minimum of 5-8 years in a data
engineering capacity, preferably within the biosciences industry. Candidates
are required to have experience developing and maintaining data pipelines &
ETL/ELT processes using code-based programming.Strong programming experience within
Python, R, and SQL is required. Candidates with additional experience in Scala
and Java will also be considered. Experience with a dashboard language such as
PowerBI, Qlik, or Tableau is a plus.Experience with modern database
platforms, such as SnowFlake and DataLake, is preferred. Candidate should also
have knowledge and experience with data transformation tools such as Databricks
and Azure Data Factory. The candidate should have a combination
of education and experience within one or more of the following areas: data warehousing
principles, data analytics, machine learning and deep learning software
engineering, SCRUM/Agile methodology, clinical data standards, and data privacy
regulations.Excellent written and verbal
communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving and critical

Healthineers USA (siemens-healthineers.com)The pay range
for this position is $140,000 - $165,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base
pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience, as well as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive
target is (10%) of base pay. Siemens
