As a member of a small team, you will work closely with members of other departments to help evangelize these best practices. As a company and a QE team, we encourage innovation and collaboration. New ideas and out-of-the-box thinking are always welcomed and fostered.What you’ll do:Identify, evaluate, and deploy tools and processes to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness.Work with business and engineering teams to understand product requirements (both business and technical) to improve overall qualityFollow programming best practices to codify manual test cases into automated tests using tools such as Pytest, Gatling, and RestAssured Maintain test infrastructure to ensure validity and reliability of test execution and resultsWork closely with the DevOps team to create/configure containerized test environments to achieve seamless test integration in local and AWS environments using tools like Jenkins, DockerSupport the development team to ensure that software meets functionality, performance, and quality requirementsBe the voice and champion for quality throughout all the SDLC phasesMonitor and report on metrics to ensure the quality of our features is consistent Help mentor and coach junior engineers as they progress in their careerRequirements:Strong understanding of Quality Assurance, Agile Processes, and Test Automation3+ years of test automation using Python or JavaCompetence with CI/CD as well as monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of API-based feature deliveryWorking knowledge of SQL and databasesExcellent communication, documentation and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrable track record of success in a dynamic environmentNice to have:BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related disciplineExperience in the programmatic advertising spaceExperience with data warehouses such as Databricks*Compensation Range: $170,000 - $220,000#LI-Onsite#LI-AR1Join UsadMarketplace has been named as one of the best places to work in New York City by Built In and Crain’s- the latter of which have recognized us the past three years straight!
