Gen AI Application Development Tech Lead Analyst- VP- Hybrid

The Gen AI Application Development Tech Lead is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:Design and architect end-to-end capabilities on the GenAI platform that interacts with the LLMs with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performanceProvide technical guidance to junior members of the teamProvide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprintResolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of available LLMsUtilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementationProvide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutionsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Ideal candidate has 6+ years of relevant experience in hands on Applications Design, Development, Architecture, and Analysis.Experience with GenAIExtensive experience in system analysis and in programming of software applicationsStrong and extensive full stack programming skills in Java (and/or Kotlin), Python, and DB programming.Experience with CI/CD DevOps tools (such as, Jenkins, UDeploy, Tekton, Harness)Good understanding of micro services architecture. Ability to self-learn new technologies as required on the job. Experience in managing and implementing successful projectsSubject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications DevelopmentAbility to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictateDemonstrated leadership and project management skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communicationImplementation experience with Langchain and RAG architectureExperience with VectorDB Education:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferredApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.  (Citi will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization for this position).
