The Royalty Data Operations Analyst ensures timely and accurate contributor payments by managing sales data and resolving issues across multiple accounts in royalties and intellectual property systems. This high-visibility role involves analyzing data, managing publishing agreements, assisting with software testing, and supporting the Content Data Operations team in addressing inquiries from authors, publishers, and rights holders.

Description

Managing and validating monthly sales files, ensuring accurate data extraction, transformation, and import from various sources. Oversee deal setups in Royalties and IP systems, handle contract amendments, analyze royalties reports for errors, and test system upgrades, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet data needs and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Facilitating timely and accurate contributor payments for both author narrative work and licensed content.
  • Setting up and maintaining data in Royalties and intellectual property systems.
  • Managing sales data inputs into the Royalties system and resolving issues across contributor accounts.
  • Resolving unprocessed sales, analyzing sales and IP data for errors, and handling prior period adjustments.
  • Adding new publishing agreements to the Royalties system and assisting with testing software enhancements.
  • Supporting the Content Data Operations team and analyzing content data to resolve inquiries from authors, publishers, and rights holders.

Profile

A successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to manage a high volume of work independently. They should be detail-oriented, adaptable to fast-paced environments, and effective in team settings with excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with royalties software, ERP systems, and reporting tools is preferred.

  • Proficiency with royalties software, general ERP system, and reporting software (Alliant, JD Edwards, Data Warehouse) is a plus
  • Must have great communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with different teams
  • Strong Excel & MS Office skills

Job Offer

Immediate start date, with a quick two round interview process. Ability to have the stability of a 6 month inital contract with the possibility of extension. Work closely with team members and build great relationships on a hybird in-office structure.
