30 minutes to Greenville & New Bern 1 hour to the beach 75 miles to Raleigh Class A baseball Hospital is seeking an OBGYN to join a successful practice is centrally located just 75 miles east of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area and 75 miles from the North Carolina coast and The Outer Banks. 260 bed community hospital offers surgical specialties that include general, thoracic and vascular, cardiology, pulmonology, oncology, radiology and urology Currently 4 OBGYN's and 2 Midwives Average deliveries for the practice 15-20 a month Physician call is shared with 2 other practices in town Practice covers every other third weekend, with midwife taking primary call those weekends. Open to 7 on/7 off work schedule Services include: Prenatal care and delivery Birth control including IUD insertion Well-Woman exam Hysterectomy Laparoscopy Infertility services Pre-pregnancy counseling STD screening and treatment In-office procedures Responsibilities include: Community offers a relaxed and comfortable lifestyle, temperate climate, proximity to East Carolina University and The Brody School of Medicine, and excellent public and private schools.
