This role is crucial for providing high-quality anesthesia care in both inpatient and outpatient settings while a permanent hire is being recruited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia and be available for a full-time commitment, including scheduled call coverage. Position Details: Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Provider Type: Advanced Practice Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Key Responsibilities: Practice Setting: Provide anesthesia services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform procedures including general anesthesia, epidurals, regional nerve blocks, and central lines. Schedule & Availability: Full-Time Schedule: Monday through Friday with additional call coverage. Call Coverage: Weekday Call: Starts after scheduled cases, typically from 3-5 PM until 7:00 AM the following day. Weekend Call: Friday: Starts at 3 PM and continues through Monday at 7:00 AM. Saturday and Sunday: 24-hour call shifts. Procedures: General anesthesia, epidural (preferred), regional nerve blocks (preferred), central lines (preferred), and MAC. No neuro or cardiac anesthesia required. Covid Vaccine Requirement: Required to bid. Requirements: Board Certification: Eligible. Licensure: Must be licensed in the state of Missouri or willing to obtain. Certifications: BLS: Required. ACLS, ABLS, ATLS, PALS: Not required. EMR System: Proficiency in Epic.
