Position Summary:
The Director of IT will be responsible for overseeing the entire IT function, driving technological innovation, and ensuring the alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in IT leadership, capable of managing complex projects and leading a diverse team of IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's business goals and drives innovation.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Oversight: Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Cybersecurity: Maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's data and IT assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
  • Vendor Management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiating favorable contracts and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy laws.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a large and distributed organization.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans that drive business success.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
