The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and be a strategic partner in achieving our mission. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial health, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making. This is a key leadership role, working closely with the CEO to ensure the sustainability and long-term success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with our mission and goals.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and non-profit accounting regulations.
  • Manage and supervise financial staff, providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Partner with operations to analyze costs and optimize resource allocation.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise, and insightful financial reports to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
  • Stay current on best practices in non-profit accounting and financial management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • CPA Certification
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a non-profit setting.
  • Proven track record of successful financial management and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to social responsibility and a passion for working with people with disabilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools.
