About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in leading the finance function, providing the CEO and executive leadership with top-tier financial guidance, particularly in the areas of M&A activity, operational analysis, and profitability. This executive will have a direct impact on the company's operations and will be responsible for the overall financial strategy. Key responsibilities include overseeing all financial and shared accounting operations, leading the annual budgeting process, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance, a minimum of five years of experience in senior finance or accounting roles, and a strong background in M&A and investor relations. The successful CFO will be a seasoned strategist with a deep understanding of current financial practices, and the ability to adapt to changes in the business, whether it be growth or downsizing. They will be expected to have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to manage a team effectively. Experience with the NetSuite ERP system and a background in the legal services industry are highly valued. The role may also involve supervisory responsibilities for HR and/or IT, so experience in these areas is a plus.
