Job Description
As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insightful reports to management.
- Accounting and Reporting: Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and manage banking relationships.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, implement internal controls, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).
- Experience with prevailing wage or union environments is highly desirable.
