Description
- Market Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within the alloys, nickel, and clad metals sectors. Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand customer base.
- Client Acquisition: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including OEMs, suppliers, and distributors. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Product Knowledge: Serve as a subject matter expert on alloys, nickel, and clad metals. Provide technical support and advice to clients, helping them understand the benefits and applications of our products.
- Proposal Management: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product development and marketing teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings. Provide feedback to improve product features and marketing strategies.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress and market conditions.
Profile
- Experience: Minimum of [4] years of experience in business development or sales within the alloys, nickel, or clad metals industries, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of alloys, nickel, and clad metals, including their properties, applications, and market dynamics. Ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Travel: Occasional travel may be required for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
