- Collaborate closely with Program Medical Directors, committee members, and trainees to drive innovative QI initiatives.

- Support a multidisciplinary environment with committees such as the Quality Committee, Quality Improvement Review Committee, and a scholarly track for trainees.

Responsibilities: Analyzes, plans, and creates complex data and report sets for academic and/or university program planning. Provides accurate and timely data to leadership for strategic decision making either within a school/college or institutional level.

  • 25% Designs, implements, and evaluates data reporting systems
  • 20% Inputs, maintains, and analyzes data in confidential databases and transfers data as needed
  • 10% Generates data-based annual reports of curricular and departmental outcomes
  • 25% Provides expert statistical consulting, analysis, and technical assistance on research projects, program assessment, and evaluation
  • 20% Attending and organizing departmental quality meetings including spearheading tasks and next steps of ongoing quality initiatives of department priority

Education:
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred focus in Social Sciences, Nursing, Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Finance, or related field.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- Five (5) years of professional experience in an analytic role, preferably in a health-related field
- Demonstrated analytic skill, ability to think critically and problem solve
- Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze business or clinical workflows and how they relate to the storage of data; demonstrated experience in extracting knowledge and driving action from large, complex datasets and databases.
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced code development in SQL, SAS, or similar database querying tools required; proficiency with Excel; proficiency with inferential statistical methods

Preferred Experience :
- Experience in Healthcare Administration, Business, or Planning in an academic environment.
- Epic certification, especially Clarity
- Medical terminology proficiency and/or experience in a clinical setting

Desired Attributes:
- Thorough knowledge of computer systems and the ability to effectively utilize software applications including spreadsheet development, database development and management, query tools, report writers, and presentation software.
- Strong technical, data handling and interpretive skills; ability to leverage Care Management systems and databases in creative ways to maximum advantage.
- Effective interpersonal relations skills promoting teamwork and collaborative alliances.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work effectively and independently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of clinical practice patterns and care delivery; the ability to understand the clinician perspective
- Substantial knowledge of the care management environment, operations, and / or economics from a provider perspective.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills with the ability to share data analysis findings in an understandable way to a variety of stakeholders, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated, effective project management and coordination skills
Work Type:
Full or Part Time: 50% - 100%

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Minimum $58,450 ANNUAL (12 months)
