EP Cardiology opening - Altoona, PA Located 98m to PittsburghJ1, H1b eligible Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Join a cardiology practice of 2 interventional cardiologists, 1 non-invasive, 2 electrophysiologists, and 1 heart failure specialist- Practice has pacemaker clinic and established EP clinic with solid patient base- Primarily outpatient practice with APP support- Patient load of an estimated 25 patients per day- Work schedule in the office Monday Friday 8 am 5 pm; 2 days in clinic, 3 days in EP lab- Call schedule is 1 night per week, Monday Friday and 1 in every 5 weekends- Department includes Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners 2023 Procedure and Volume Statistics: Cath Lab Statistics:- Patient Visits: 2,511- Catheterizations: 1,975- Impella: 13- Drug Eluting Stent: 814- Rotablador: 27- Watchman: 309- TAVR: 64EP Lab Statistics:- Patient Visits: 1,187- Pacemaker insertions: 177- Bi-V Pacemaker: 20- ICD Insertion: 56- Bi-V ICD: 65- Loop Recorder Insert: 177- EP Study: 23- Ablation simple: 171- Ablation complex: 361 Compensation/Benefits - Relocation assistance- Sign-on bonus- $4,000 CME allowance- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience- Outstanding benefit package including health, dental, life, vision and disability insurance- Retirement plan with employer match About the Group - 400-bed regional tertiary health care system for residents in central Pennsylvania - Joint Commission certified thrombectomy capable stroke center with 24/7 care and a renowned interventional neurology program- Other signature services include Level ll Trauma Center, Cancer Center, Heart & Vascular Institute, Womens - 400 primary care and specialty credentialed physicians on medical staff - A patient safety grade in Leapfrogs most recent hospital safety survey- 4-star quality hospital, as rated by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services (CMS). - HeartCARE Center National Distinction of Excellence award recipient by the American College of Cardiology.
