JOB OVERVIEW
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for collecting and using data to create and manage Just-In-Time (JIT) raw materials, Work-In-Progress (WIP) and finished inventory management system. This role is significant in ensuring accurate corporate financial records. Inventory control processes performed by the Inventory Control Specialist have a company-wide impact touching Production, Customer Service, Finance & Accounting, Purchasing, Quality and IT Systems.

Requirements
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintaining accurate raw material and finished goods inventory in ERP system.
- Complete accurate and JIT ERP transactions, reporting inventory discrepancies in a timely manner while following corporate guidelines.
- Train and educate associates in each step of the manufacturing process as it relates to ERP; specifically for the performance of accurate cycle counts and placement training.
- Research and problem solving to identify ERP discrepancies.
- Build positive working relationships with department managers to ensure proper use of the ERP system to assist with planning, purchasing, and manufacturing operations.
- Works closely with Production Staff to complete any assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner with as little disruption to production as possible.
- Ensure all communication means are acted on promptly.
- Prioritizes work appropriately.
- Restock gowning and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) supplies in all labs.
- Maintain the stockroom and deliver identified stock items to all labs.
- High School Diploma; Some advanced education preferred
- Fundamental and working knowledge of ERP computer application system.
- Minimum 3-4 years inventory control or related accounting experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Fundamental and working knowledge of computers, including MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
- Good human relations and oral/written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and provide a professional image when giving/taking information in written, or verbal (in person, and over phone) form.
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
