Schedule: 4/10 hour days, 1st shift
Job Description:
Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Essential Functions:
Ability to read and understand description of manufacture (DM, DOM) for operation assembly instruction. Ability to handle small parts with tweezers and/ or special tools Operate various types of assembly equipment (assembly machines, press stakers, air screw drivers, etc.) with proper training. Visually inspect components and subassemblies for obvious defects prior to, during, and after assembled. Check completed assemblies for conformance with quality standards and DMs. Maintain assembly/ quality records paperwork as required.

Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.
- Abiltiy to obtain a security clearance if required
- Experience with various types of precision measurement tools (micrometers, go/no-go gauges, etc) and blueprint reading required.
- Experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.
- Experience working on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Lines.
