Crete focuses on partnering with successful owner operators (our partners) and enabling them to accelerate the growth of their businesses by providing sales and operational support.

General responsibilities:

The Marketing and Communications Specialist will assist in the development, planning, execution, and evaluation of communications and marketing initiatives for a variety of marketing projects including corporate and partner communication, town halls, newsletters, social media, website content, and more.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and facilitate effective communications to produce high-quality work that upholds brand standards.
  • Support the marketing department's initiatives with planning, executing email communication, content for events, social media, and communication across a variety of platforms.
  • Be an adept and adaptive storyteller, able to channel different brand and leadership voices.
  • Key communicator for partner and senior leadership updates, providing ongoing support for Crete United corporate and partner updates including emails, websites, integrating feedback into collateral improvements.
  • Work closely with the design and production teams, providing clear and actionable direction, effectively and collaborating with cross-functional leaders to identify gaps in current marketing resources and create new marketing materials as necessary.
  • Lead brand storytelling by working with teams to identify and develop multi-channel material - case studies, blog posts, social media content, etc.
  • Provide communications support with internal meetings, roundtables and town halls


Experience/Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in communications, marketing, public relations or new/emerging media
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills and the ability to multitask
  • Competent writer, able to adapt to multiple mediums and platforms
  • Some design experience preferred (Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
  • Ability to work at a fast-pace individually and as a team member
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
  • Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint preferred but not required


Education

BA/BS degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, New/Emerging Media or another relevant field. At least three to five years related and non-internship work experience.

  • Highly competitive base annual salary up to $95k (DOE) and performance-based annual bonus structure.
