The Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a talented Signal Processing Engineer to join the Fort Walton Beach, FL team to create unique solutions for complex problems.
The Dynetics Fort Walton Beach team focuses on developing state of the art Hardware in the Loop (HITL) simulation systems used to test cutting edge guided munitions for the Air Force's premier munitions acquisitions organization. With expertise in in the areas of radar, electronic warfare, target generation, and digital signal processing, the Fort Walton Beach team has been a recognized authority on RF HITL solutions for the last 25 years. The individual selected for this position will be joining a team of talented engineers and scientists to develop advanced system concepts from inception to prototype and production. The right candidate will be comfortable operating as a member of a small inter-disciplinary engineering team and eager to attack any technical challenge.
The Engineer in this role will support advanced technology radar, guided munition and EW programs including research and development of advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms, high-fidelity radar and RF modeling, simulation, analysis and integration with RF sensors and systems.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or Physics from an ABET-accredited school with 15+ years of experience or 13+ years of experience with PhD.
Candidate must have excellent math skills and/or possess and show good fundamentals in one or more of the following:
Must be able to apply these skills to the areas of radar modeling & simulation, antenna array theory, digital signal processing, algorithm development, and guided munition sensor systems.
Candidate must be a resident of the Fort Walton Beach area or willing to relocate to the Fort Walton Beach, FL area.
Security Requirements:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

Pay Range: Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
