Job Overview:

Concentrix Catalyst is seeking a seasoned Sr. Data & Analytics Solution Architect that is part of our Data & Analytics Consulting team. This position provides critical functions collaborating with team members to focus on analytics strategy & road mapping, readiness assessments, governance & compliance, organization & culture, and ethics for our clients, with a focus on design and implementation of data and analytics solutions. The right candidate will be successful if they have a growth mindset accompanied with the ability to rapidly synthesize data, understand and interpret customers digital assets, make recommendations, including optimal target state architecture and components, and present insights.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to define, drive, manage and implement enterprise data strategy and roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  • Direct experience with enterprise class data architectures for business intelligence and artificial intelligence use cases and the ability to analyze client data assets.
  • Ability to partner with technical and non-technical teams to discuss technical details and make recommendations.
  • Provide further insight into the firm's overall strategy by identifying critical questions and performing ad-hoc analyses, as needed.
  • Be able to analyze and reverse engineer digital assets including BI reports, data structures, ETLs, Access databases and Excel files for the purposes of informing recommendations for go forward data strategies.
  • Inspire client stakeholders at any level of organization. Able to bridge business / IT gap and become a trusted advisor.
  • Direct experience designing modern data and analytics architectures within two of the major cloud hyperscalers (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud), leveraging native services as well as incorporating at least one of the leading data platform service providers (Snowflake and Databricks).
  • Understand DataOps principles with experience designing and implementing DataOps at scale.
  • Provide technical expertise in data curation, processing, storage, and analytics within cloud environments.
  • Develop best practices and standards for data ingestion patterns, data processing, storage, security, and monitoring specific to cloud environments, communicating the advantages of these standards and practices to client stakeholders
  • Provide best practices for data lake and database design, including the use of multiple data access zones across the Data Lake (raw/landing, operational, self-service, data marts, etc.).
  • Understand how to apply data governance principles, data quality best practices, and standards across different data storage and processing mechanisms.
  • Work closely with our client's engineers and senior-level leadership, effectively communicating technical details and recommendations at the right level for the audience.
  • Design and implement robust monitoring, logging, and controls to ensure data quality and security.
  • Ability to estimate scope, duration, and cost of data, BI, & AI initiatives, including cloud cost comparisons, and providing cost comparisons, advantages, and disadvantages when comparing multiple architecture options.
Qualifications:
  • High level, non-specific business understanding.
  • 5years in any Catalyst relevant vertical or LOB specialization, including Retail, Tech, Telco, Media, Healthcare, Financial Services, & Manufacturing or in Sales, Marketing, or Customer Experience.
  • 4+ years designing cloud architectures and implementing data pipelines on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platforms.
  • 7Years, experience with data management consulting.
  • 5+ years of experience with at least one programming language: Python, Java or Scala build enterprise scale data integration pipelines and data processing
  • 8years hands-on experience with SQL
  • 2+ years of experience on at least two modern analytics data platform: Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or Redshift. Strong preference for Databricks experience.
  • 5+ years relational and multi-dimensional data modelling experience, using enterprise grade modelling tools, such as ERWin.
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, with analyst up to director level.
  • Ability to partner with Client Engineers, to "go deep" on as-is process & data assets, while utilizing a non-threatening approach.
  • Lifetime learner that gains knowledge to increase credibility.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in communication tools (ie. Word, Excel (can perform complex functions) , Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced proficiency in data tools and/or BI tool(s) that can be used to analyze client data assets/business perspective).
  • Strong understanding of streaming, batch processing, change data control and performance optimization.
  • Previous experience in a similar role as a Sr. Data & Analytics Solution Architect.
Education:
  • Have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in a related field..
