The Account Manager reports directly to Chief Growth Officer and will be responsible for working closely with ~20 sellers, helping them build a bigger business through quarterly initiatives, identifying pain points from your creators to impact Whop's product, ensuring perfect product health for all creators managed, and developing once-in-a-lifetime relationships with the creators you work with
What does the role look like?

The Account Manager will report directly to the Head of Partnerships, and will work alongside six other Account Managers. Your primary responsibility will be to retain all of the creators in your book of business. The primary metric we will use to measure your success is the # of creators retained on a week by week basis. Outside of creator retention, each creator you manage will have an associated health score and it will be your responsibility to get all of your creators to a "healthy" status.

Account Managers at Whop are the central line of defense between our top creators and our team. Your job is to create and nurture relationships with creators in a way that makes creators view you as a cornerstone part of their success. Creators should feel like you are instrumental in their success. Day to day in this role will consist of having frequent calls with your creators to review their strategy and show them new products we're building, reviewing creators analytics to prep for these calls, sending creators thoughtful gifts/scheduling irl meeting ups, to even introducing your creators to other creators on Whop that could help grow their business (growth operators). In short, your job is to retain 100% of your creators and we believe the most effective way to do that is to build genuine relationships, and identify ways to make your creators more money.

You'll be given different tools and resources to hit your objectives. You'll be given a quarterly budget of $25,000 which should cover gifts + travel to meet with top creators. Additionally, you'll get free access to the best Growth Operating courses in our space to learn the craft. Lastly, you'll have direct access to our product team to implement product improvements based on your experience with your creators.

Your first 90 days will look like the following:
  • Within 30 days, you will onboard your first 25 creators
  • Within 60 days, you will have onboarded 60 creators
  • Within 90 days, you will have > 75% of your accounts as "healthy" creators
