The Opportunity:

Everyone is trying to "harness the cloud," but not everyone knows how. As a Cloud Program Manager, you know how to migrate applications to the cloud that meet client and stakeholder needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities.

You'll lead the development of solution architectures to address highly complex problems and assume a technical leadership role managing complex cloud-based projects. Apply industry-leading approaches and technologies, including Agile, DevSecOps, cloud-native architectures, AI and ML to solve complex client challenges and provide highly innovative solutions. You'll work in a cross-cutting manner to drive architectural consistency and technical solution architecture across all layers, including infrastructure, platform, data, user interface, security, and enterprise services. Drive incorporation of modern software development principles and technologies, including cloud-native development using microservices and containers. You'll build cross-functional teams of IT professionals and mentor team members on how to enhance their technical expertise and build a big picture perspective about different components of a technology solution and how they fit together.

With access to our internal AWS, Azure, GCP and OCI environments, you'll have the space and time to explore different ways of solving our clients' challenges, and you'll partner with stakeholders and lead your team to deliver the right technical solutions. You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in Cloud architecture with Cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, or Google Cloud in FedRAMP and FedRAMP+ environments
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary solutioning for Cloud based efforts
  • Experience leading DevOps teams and implementing automation tools and processes
  • Experience designing and implementing highly scalable, available, and fault tolerant Cloud-based infrastructure solutions
  • Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for Cloud-based solutions, network architecture and security principles
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or Git
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • CompTIA Sec+ Certification

  • Ability to supervise others and lead projects and deliverables within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solution Architect Professional, Google Cloud Architect, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
