About the Team:

The Allocator's primary purpose is to drive inventory availability and efficiency across O&O stores, e-store, and outlets through demand based precise allocation and replenishment.

This position will be based in New York City.

Your Role as an Allocator:

  • Master the use of the replenishment optimization tool for executing weekly replenishment
  • Become expert on Aptean allocation system navigation and capabilities
  • Replenish Core Assortment
  • Build inventories according to budgets and forecasts
  • Manage Allocation to sell thru and stock availability targets
  • Analyze Store Tiers for Optimization
  • Ensure Online and Offline inventory balance is secured to achieve financial targets
  • Manage peak readiness deliverables to optimize performance during key consumption periods
  • Escalate any risks
  • Initial Newness Model Stocks
  • Ensure newness models are planned to optimize launch campaign and featured style and colors.
  • Ensure replenishment stock is secured to quickly respond to campaign trends
  • Ensure distortions to Top Stores and turn Bottom Stores faster
  • Optimize Campaign ST% based on life cycle ST% targets
  • Fully leverage Store Tiers to analyze stock turns based on sales volume
  • Fully leverage Store Tiers to analyze optimal store inventory levels
  • Initial Set up of New store stock levels and hyper-care monitoring for replenishment
  • Set initial inventory targets at the store/sku level that meet financial expectations for all new store openings.
  • Generate new store opening orders
  • Track orders and communicate with project team on expected shortages or delays
  • Set up new stores to receive replenishment orders out of Aptean

KPI's:
  • Style Availability (in stock %'s), SKU Availability, and Weeks of Cover
  • Manages Aptean parameters including minimums & display minimums, planned weeks of cover, and mandatory vs extended assortment.
  • Escalate any inventory issues to Demand Planners, Planning Managers and Merchandisers proactively to secure sales upside (shortages) and mitigate downside risks (overages)
  • Key role in Weekly Trade Reviews communicating variances to targets and actions to address over inventories, shortages, aged stock positions


Craft your career with us if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration
  • Strong, seasoned, technical merchandise allocator or merchant planner within vertical retailing, omni experience
  • 3-5+ years of solid experience working within Merchandising and/or experience from retail, fashion, lifestyle or FMCG industry
  • Relentlessly commercial and fact based and analytical
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally & geographically
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large sets of data and present results in a simple manner
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  • Able to perform under pressure, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadline.
  • Escalates issues proactively
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong aptitude to learn technical applications (like: MS Access, Hyperion and Aptean) quickly
  • Knowledge of planning software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

New York City: $80,000 - $85,000commensurate on experience

About Pandora NAM:

The Pandora North America team in the USA & Canada consists of more than 115 employees working at our offices in New York & Baltimore, more than 80 in our Logistics Center in Columbia, Maryland, an additional 100 in field positions, and more than 3,900 in our owned and operated stores.

Today, the USA is Pandora's single largest market. The Pandora North American region as a whole encompasses over 1,400 points of sale, including over 420 concept stores, with more than 300 being owned and operated by Pandora.
