Business Development Manager
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team in the San Francisco Bay area, reporting into our San Leandro, CA office.
This highly motivated, data-driven individual will be responsible for generating and closing new business, building long-term client relationships, and utilizing industry knowledge to provide tailored solutions in the environmental services sector. This role will require a proactive approach to sales, leveraging industry connections and market insights to drive growth, while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and compliance.

This hybrid role will report to the VP of Sales. The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000.

Responsibilities:
- Originate and close both repeat and new business opportunities to drive sustained revenue growth.
- Stay informed on market trends and industry developments to effectively network with like-minded companies.
- Collaborate with sales colleagues to generate referrals and secure introductions to potential clients.
- Cold-call and prospect new companies that align with Triumvirate's target profile.
- Master and effectively sell all service lines offered by Triumvirate Environmental.
- Leverage Triumvirate's internal CRM system to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Maintain a high level of sales activity within an assigned region to meet or exceed targets.
- Attend industry trade shows, conventions, and other relevant networking events to build brand presence and generate leads.
- Utilize knowledge of RCRA and OSHA regulations to build trust and credibility with customers and prospects.
- Develop a strong understanding of the technical, customer service, and business aspects of environmental services.
- Focus on cultivating long-term, client-centered relationships that add value for customers.
- Deliver exceptional service, consistently exceeding expectations to WOW Triumvirate's internal and external customers.
- Apply Sandler Sales principles to effectively navigate sales conversations, overcome objections, and close deals.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or Environmental Studies.
- 3+ years of previous sales experience, preferably in the Environmental Services industry.
- Proven experience selling services to the Industrial Manufacturing and/or Life Sciences markets.
- Familiarity with consultative sales techniques.
- Direct sales experience in Life Sciences (Biotech, Pharmaceuticals), Higher Education, Advanced Manufacturing, or Healthcare industries.
- Basic knowledge of or a strong desire to learn about the environmental services field.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and drive to close business.
- Ability to travel regionally and occasionally stay overnight as needed.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean motor vehicle record are required.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
