The EHS Management System Technical Standards Manager ensures the company is meeting all regulatory required standards.The successful candidate will achieve this through implementation of an EHS Management System and collaboration with operations and other technical discipline.

The EHS Management System Technical Standards Manager ensures the company is meeting all regulatory required standards.The successful candidate will achieve this through implementation of an EHS Management System and collaboration with operations and other technical discipline.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with EHS regulations and be audit-ready
- Regulatory compliance obligations of both OSHA PSM regulations (29 CFR 1910.119) and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP) rules (40 CFR 68)
- Maintains and keep current EHS MS Standard Operating Procedures and Work Processes
- Facilitates Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) of specified processes
- Facilitates Management of Change (MOC) review process
- Facilitates Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) Process
- Manages list of corrective action items and ensures timely closure.
- Manages third party contractor program and processes with EHS Field Team
- Ensures processes adhere to stated regulatory and industry performance standards (e.g. NFPA, ASME, API, ANSI)
- Conducts routine inspections of EHS Management System elements to prevent deviation
- Coordinates internal audits and liaison for third party audits
- Manages list of EHS-related audit findings, inspection issues, Serious Injuries and Fatalities incidents/near miss corrective actions and ensures timely closure of these items.
- EHS Management Annual Review and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and helps set goals and objectives for Continuous Improvement of EHS Management System.
- Manages and facilitates incident investigation process and incident management/investigation workflow
- Anticipates regulatory changes or industry practices and how those will impact business operations and advises leaders on impacts to the business operations
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required in Chemical, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related field required.
- Professional certification / aspiration (ASP/CSP, CIH) a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in Environmental, Health & Safety, Process Safety Management, Chemical Engineering, or similar technical role.
