HIL Validation Engineer

Job Title : HIL Validation Engineer Location: Mississauga, Ontario Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in an accredited Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent work experience) - Bilingual - French and English - 5+yrs experience in software integration and validation - Expertise with Matlab/Simulink, and Datalinks (J1939, Modbus) - Expertise with Vector Tools Canape/Canalyzer or Modsim/Modscan) - Experience with OPAL RT test equipmentca - Ability to contribute to test automation (Python preferred) - Understanding of Electrification application - Excellent network skills (Router, firewall, etc) - Experience working in AGILE environment - Excellent analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot problems and identify root cause - Ability to maintain and modify test benches (hardware and software) - Rigorous in documenting - Ability to quickly learn complex systems - Complete understanding of software development life cycle - Driven by results and dates (commitment) - Good analytical and reasoning skills - Strong background in testing of Electronic Systems - Excellent oral and written communication skills
