Summary:

Staff Engineering Project Manager with a specific focus on supporting our Enterprise Technology division. Enterprise Technology supports corporate technology, broadcast, and production systems globally across the organization. This role will work on large complex software projects affecting large parts of the organization.

The Staff Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of software and infrastructure engineering projects, while meeting performance, quality, and scheduling goals. The project manager will be expected to plan and execute in a hybrid waterfall and agile environment. This position requires strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. Must have a strong technical foundation and ability to quickly develop deep understanding of the strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple programs and large projects
• Develop and maintain project scope, schedule, and budgets
• Manage and update detailed project plan, roadmaps, and trackers to monitor and track progress
• Communicate project expectations, risks, and escalations effectively and timely across all levels of the organization
• Manage project resource capacity, identify overallocated resources and build mitigation strategies
• Plan and maintain strong mitigation strategies against possible risks and issues
• Lead cross functional teams towards shared goals against tight timelines
• Communicate weekly and monthly project status
• Provide input towards constantly improving processes with the intention of efficiency and automation

Requirements
• B.S./B.A. degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
• PMP or CSM certification
• Previous work experience within media entertainment industry a plus
• Strong leadership skills to drive and deliver.
• Results-oriented with initiative to work until job is complete
• 10+ years' experience leading complex software or infrastructure projects
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and Smartsheet
• Excellent organization and communication skills, as well as strong and consistent attention to detail
• Foundational understanding of software and infrastructure engineering technologies
• Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate and influence team members from global teams with diverse backgrounds, business objectives, and time zone constraints
• Adaptable performer who can lead effectively under pressure and through significant change
• Ability and desire to continually learn about new technologies, project management methodologies, and adapt to ever-changing business and industry needs
