Key responsibilities as a Staff in our Tax practice will include interacting with clients and team members to secure tax data. Students are expected to analyze data, prepare work papers based on professional standards, determine the accuracy/completeness of the compliance product, and perform quality assurance procedures to prepare the product for delivery. Staff will establish and maintain working relationships with clients and pursue knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery. You will contribute to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters personal development.

Tax Policy & Controversy

EY Law's tax controversy group assists clients resolving tax disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and other Canadian tax authorities. We also represent clients before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada, the provincial trial and appellate courts, and the Canadian International Trade Tribunal.

Indirect Tax

The Indirect Tax team identifies tax planning opportunities to help clients minimize their tax burden as well as fulfill compliance responsibilities and avoid tax penalties. Sub specialities are Indirect Tax Recovery and Global Trade.

As we are client facing, we expect our staff to demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude, maintaining confidential and proprietary nature of client relationships and work-related products. BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $60,000 to $120,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
